The disease is an alarming situation, and nephrotic syndrome ayurvedic treatment can help you in fighting Nephrotic syndrome.

About Nephrotic Syndrome

There are various conditions that show your kidney is not doing its work properly.

And this group of things together makes- nephrotic syndrome.

These are the following-

Albuminuria is when kidneys cannot hold proteins, and these proteins keep flushing in excessive quantities through urine.

Hypoalbuminemia- Due to the loss of albumin in urine, the body suffers from the lack of albumin in the blood.

Hyperlipidemia- In this situation, cholesterol and fats in the body increase from their normal limits in the body.

Why does the kidney start flushing protein in urine?

Human kidneys are made of small filters. These filters are known as Glomeruli. Small blood arteries bring blood to glomeruli, and filteration takes place. All waste and excess amounts of fluid are separated from the blood. This waste travels to the urinary bladder, and we pass it as urine frequently.

Two key events occur during this process of filteration-

1. Removal of the waste products like urea etc.

2. Retaining of Protein, blood cells, etc

When these glomeruli damage, albumin starts crossing these filters. The albumin can be up to 3 grams daily in the case of Nephrotic syndrome.

In a nutshell, nephrotic syndrome is a condition where high quantities of albumin come out through urine.

What causes Nephrotic syndrome?

Nephrotic syndrome occurs because of the two conditions.

Secondary cause

This condition occurs because of other diseases such as diabetes, SLE, etc.

Which Dosha is involved in Nephrotic Syndrome?

Ayurvedic physiology and pathology revolve around the three doshas. It is essential to understand the involvement of these in any disease.

Vata Dosha in Nephrotic Syndrome

The frothy urine is a part of vata dosha. Vata is something that leads to the destruction of tissues. Damaged tissues further lead to nephrotic syndrome.

Pitta Dosha in nephrotic syndrome

Decay of the tissue and inflammation belongs to the pitta dosha, which causes nephrotic syndrome.

Kapha Dosha in nephrotic syndrome

Water retention relates to the Kapha dosha. The waste increase in the urine.

So, all three doshas are involved in the pathological process of nephrotic syndrome.
